Summary

It has been a while since we last saw "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power" "Game of Thrones" prequel "House of the Dragon" took nearly as long to come back.

Streaming platforms have been retrenching. We had a pandemic. There were labor strikes in Hollywood. Individual shows can have creative or staffing issues. Ambitious productions take longer.

It made sense when Covid caused production to slow down because they had to take special precautions and all that. It's stupid that they're still doing it.

I'm really hoping it's just an ongoing product of that and not a "new normal"

I couldn't care less about the actual reason because it's just a bunch of bs at this point

At least you know it's hurting their bottom line. They're just shifting blame at this point

The cast of the Orville gave good idea of how much it sucks for the actors to have this long a break and no idea when they'll be back.

Had to look this up cause it seemed interesting. Looks like one of the actresses really speaks to how long production cycles causes issues while the actors wait.

That's what makes me feel bad for the actors that really want to create something fun and interesting!
