Community Rules

SpeakBits welcomes all appropriate forms of expression and will not engage in restricting any one opinion or dissenting views. Certain content and behaviors will need to be moderated to ensure a respectful and engaging community that complies with all legal obligations.

SpeakBits groups will maintain their own rules to foster their own communities but all groups must adhere to the following site-wide rules:

1. Respect user privacy. Sharing anyone's personal, or confidential, information without explicit permission is not allowed.
2. No harassment. Hate speech, discriminatory language, or any form of content that promotes or incites violence, harassment, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic is not allowed.
3. No illegal activity. Posting or promoting content that is illegal, including but not limited to, content related to illegal drugs, weapons, or any other illicit activities is strictly prohibited.
4. No CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material). Do not share or encourage the sharing of sexual, abusive, or suggestive content involving minors. Do not engage in any predatory or inappropriate behavior involving a minor.
5. Spamming in any way is not allowed. Posting authentic content is absolutely welcome but repeated, unwanted, and/or unsolicited actions, whether automated or manual that negatively impacts any group will potentially result in a removal of your account.

Breaking any of these rules can result in the removal of the content and/or suspension of the offending user account.
