I dont know where to post this but I am on a lease in NYC with someone I thought I could trust to pay rent on time. Not only is he the most lazy person ever he is now about 3 months behind on his half of rent. I just got a call from my landlord saying that if I do not pay soon that they will be taking legal action against me. What do I do if my lazy roommate still has no job and cannot pay rent I dont have the money to be dealing with his half and I am in school full time. Can i break the lease and move out and let him deal with it? What are my options
