What is a road map to get into interior design, for someone who wants to switch career to interior design? Resources would be very helpful.

I am graduate of civil engg. I really liked to switch, I have drafting experience but not interior so can please anyone help me out with how can I fully transition, into this road map would be very helpful with resources and references, thanks in advance.
