It's no wonder ancient civilizations thought the gods were mad at them. I can't imagine having no idea if the sun would be back and what you did to make it disappear
Think any of them just committed murder-suicide as the eclipse was happening?
Morbid thought lol but wouldn't surprise me. Some research has gone into acts of suicide throughout history and there's evidence of the use of poison for it.
Especially with how quick it ust gets snuffed out!
