As title states my dad passed away a few days ago and is survived by my Mom and his children. We’re currently making funeral arrangements and have family members helping who have gone through this before, but I’m looking for a comprehensive checklist on everything that needs to be done so we don’t miss anything important.
I searched for something like this and found a great thread in the Canadian finance sub, but I’m just trying to make sure nothing US-specific gets overlooked. If a checklist like this exists for the US I’d love to see it, otherwise if there’s anything this list is missing for the US it would be really helpful to see it.
