I'm looking for a game that treats magic like a difficult to obtain resource. You need ravens eggs, harpie feathers and the sound of a bird laughing to cast a fireball that wipes out a room. Dangerous, but rare. I want to build a castle dedicated to making these rare ingredients to the point where I can do a "MTV Cribs" on my awesome wizard tower. And eventually get to Dumbledore levels of famous/beardness. Is there a game like that out there?
I know Enshrouded is kind of similar, but I've already invested 100+ hours into that and it didn't feel like it had quite enough content for me to feel satisfied. I did also play the crap out of Hogwarts Legacy and I just beat Dragons Dogma 2, but the game doesn't have any kind of base building or farming aspects.
I have decent experience with a lot of RPG's. I also have both a PC and a switch. I HAD a PS4, but a family member is borrowing it right now. But if a game is a PS4 exclusive I could probably ask for it back.
There was a game I played a while back that was a point and click visual novel of sorts? I don't remember the name. I didn't care too much for that. I'd prefer something more 3D if I can
