Sorry this is a dumb question. I had some medical bills that took a while to pay off because I was trying to dispute them (and they ghosted me). One of those bills went to collections, and I’ve paid it off now but I’m wondering if having this collections record will now affect a future credit score. I don’t have a credit card at this time and paid it off using debit.
