Considering putting a bar table/console table with chairs/stools behind the sofa for the kids to eat breakfast/snacks, finish homework etc. Worried about walking space or if it would be too congested as it’s an alternate pathway other than through the actual living room. I did a mock up with a table for spec with a chair. This table 19 in deep, I would get a shorter one as most are around 13-17in that I’ve seen. I would also be getting chairs that wouldn’t be too bulky and slid close up to the table. With a 19 inch table there is about 25 inches of space with the chairs pushed in and 16 inches with someone sitting. Thank you for your thoughts!
