Conmebol issued a statement saying only ticket holders would be allowed to enter the stadium campus before the 20:00 kick-off. But as the scheduled kick- off time approached, thousands of ticketless fans had "attempted to forcibly enter the venue" The game ultimately kicked off more than an hour late.

I'm surprised they didn't arrest more people or get them kicked out

The videos of it are insane. That amount of people that got through and ran in would have taken the entire event to figure out who was actually meant to be there.

Looked those up and I think it would have been scary to be there! I guess it takes a special kind of person lol
